With this procedure will besides install stock rom it will also erase all installed programs. Make a Backup of them. It is highly recommended even a Backup of all data and files on the internal memory of the device

• Android ROM ITA 4.0.
• Odin
• USB Driver
• Pre-Wipe

If we set up a ROM ICS Stock the Wipe should not be executed.
If you install a ROM or a Custom Stock Gingerbread ROM ICS or Gingerbread, you must perform the data Wipe before installing. Here is the procedure for Stock ROMS:

• Switch off the Notes
• We enter into System Recovery mode (volume up button from off + middle button + power button)
• Let's move, with the volume buttons, on the wipe data/factory reset and confirm with the button Power
• We confirm again with the Power button
• When finished, reboot
• As regards users with custom ROM (and custom Recovery), the procedure is very similar. Reboot into Recovery and Wipe data/factory reset.

How To Flash ICS on Samsung Galaxy Note

Below is the tutorial to flash stock android 4.0.4 firmware on galaxy note

1. Download and install the USB Driver
2. Download and extract the ROM Android 4 o. 4 (we will meet with a .tar file)
3. Download and extract Odin
4. We switch our Galaxy notes and avviamolo in Download Mode by pressing Volume down + home + Power Button
5. Launch, from the store previously retrieved, Odin3 1.85 v
6. We connect the Galaxy Notes into the computer and, if properly recognized, Odin the first box at the top left will become yellow (otherwise we try to connect and reconnect, change USB port or, in a pinch, uninstall and reinstall the USB Driver)
7. Click on PDA and select the N7000XXLRI_N7000ITVLR1_N7000XXLRB_HOME.tar.md5 file that is located in the folder previously extracted 4.0.4 ROM
8. Click on the Start button

After the Flash, when you will see Pass in Odin, our Notes will restart. After reboot, it will last a little longer than usual, and the usual Configuration Wizard, we will have our Notes updated for ICS with the new ROM Italian!
